Some sections from the story pages:

As Alice was about to expose the lettering of the book the shops doorbell rang.
Alice took a deep breath, sighed and patted the book..'I will be seeing you again soon'.

Upon approaching the shop door she saw a tall, slender, rather pale looking young man in dark clothing staring in.
He was not someone she had seen before.
Alice smiled politely as she opened the door,'I am sorry ...we are closed'
The young mans dark eyes penetrated hers ...
'Mr. Hampton ?' His voice soft, confident .

'I am sorry... Mr. Hampton passed away..... four months ago now......can I help you?'
The young mans jaw tensed, an intense frown came upon his face, not one word passed his lips...
Alice asked if he wanted to come in.
With a slight nod of his head the young man entered and promptly sat down beside the counter.
His counternance expressed that he had been in the shop before.....for a moment there was an awkward silence.

-----------------------------

Alice held the ornately decorated key ...it too was fluid in shape, almost like little leaves....beautiful she whispered. The lock on the book matched the elaborate pattern of its key.....upon closer inspection she realised the key and lock were made of silver although now tainted.
She now understood why this beautiful book was held in such high esteem by its owner.
------------------------------

The following page was full of symbols except one sentence scribbled in ink, and to her amazement written in English :

- In 1853 the Ossianic Society was founded by Mr. Hammond - to preserve and collect all literature and poems regarding the the land of :
Tír na mBuadha - the land of Virtues ...

Alice smiled, Mr.Hammond was a protector of lore, ancient mythology, of what seems to be the faery....that explains why the young man placed it in his care.
How odd it was tucked away and left to dust.

notes from Mr.Hammonds journal of encounter:

Biddy Early knew the name of any person coming to see her and also the reason for their visit, she would only treat them if they had decided to consult her first and not a doctor or priest. Sometimes after examining a person if she deemed the reason for the ailment was not due to fairy enchantments she refused to treat them instead directing them to go to a traditional doctor.

Then of course there is myself, encountering two now.

-----------------------------------
A'ine:
Áine was a goddess of the Celtic peoples and later in christian times she became known as a fairy queen.
Among herbalists and folk-healers Áine was understood to be responsible for the vital spark of life which they understood traversed the entire body every twenty-four hours.
Her name means 'Delight, Pleasure, Agility and Melody'. She is often deemed to be a more approachable version of the Goddess Anu.
In the time of the Tuatha Dé Danann she helped the family of Eoghanacht take over the hill at Knockainy ever afterwards known as Áine's hill and she resided in the eastern part of the sidhe or fairy mound.
Like all the people of the Sidhe, she was kind and helpful to those that respected and venerated her but she exacted revenge on any that displeased or harmed her.
Oberon:
Oberon, also Auberon, King of Shadows and Fairies, is best known as a character in William Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream
He is the consort of the Queen of the Fairies.
Oberon's status as king of the elves comes from the character of Alberich (from Old High German alb- "elf" and -rîh-, "ruler", "king"),
a sorcerer in the legendary history of the Merovingian dynasty.
