Theme of swap: VW camper
I just had to include the fae ;-)
So the fairy bridge it was with a fairy standing attentive only allowing the VW's across!
Prints/ decoupage onto card then embossed edging.
The Fairy Bridge on the Isle of Man is an actual place....
The Fairy Bridge is on the main road between Douglas and Castletown.
It has been a part of Manx (what the people of the island are called) folklore for many many years and it is apparently unlucky if you don't say hello to the fairies as you go over the bridge.
A Tynwald member has given his backing to a letterbox for the "fairies" on the Isle of Man.
Next up will be Mary Antoinette Closet swap...
My first ever attempt at creating anything like this, exciting!
Imagine what Marie would keep inside her closet.
Shoes, of course, fans perhaps, dresses, maybe even a place for cupcakes!!
An image of Marie in some fashion, will be within the piece.
Alter a hinged box, (example is a cigar box) into a closet.
Guideliness: Glam up the outside completely as it would no doubt be viewed from all sides AND it is, after all, the Queen's closet.
Inside, maybe a shelf can be created from mat board or balsa wood. In creating the inside, keep in mind a few things. One, you will want it to close completely.
Keep it between 6" and 12"
