Fabric manipulation - Journal cover..

Handmade journal cover

I used :

calico - cream
muslin - cream
Voile - two tone

I sandwiched the fabrics afer manipulating them:

muslin: waves/swirl shapes & frayed, burnt holes in
Voile: burnt swirls into fabric to create loose pattern
then I added swirls via thin copper tube beads (took ages lol)

machine wrapped thread for ties - used different coloured threads & metallics

Close up of fabric and wrap closures

love & light
