  Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection; 

and "the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another"

 .....She is about truth

  Codex Alimentarius (Latin for "Book of Food") 

Still a subject of considerable controversy... 

... a proposal that no herb, vitamin or mineral should be sold for preventive or therapeutic reasons, 

and that supplements should be reclassified as drugs. 

The proposal was agreed, but protests halted its implementation.

 ...the yin ... yang

...a belief that there exist two complementary forces in the universe. 

One is Yang which represents everything positive or masculine 

and the other is Yin which is characterized as negative or feminine. 

One is not better than the other. 

Instead they are both necessary and a balance of both is highly desirable.

Yin is soft while Yang is hard. Yin is stillness while Yang is movement. 

The sun is yang while the moon is yin. Female is Yin while Man is Yang. 

Mountain is Yin while the river is Yang. Intuitive is Yin while Logical is Yang. 

Winter is Yin while Summer is Yang.

Lifebook art update

I am still waiting via snail (royal mail - UK) mail for pens to arrive 

so here are my works in progress pics (WIP's).

This process was great fun, using gel matt medium to transfer
a photocopy image onto watercolour paper.
 Neo watercolour crayons,
Derwent watercolour pencils, & glaze medium to add colour to collage.

I used castles in my hair to represent my interest in folklore
& the ideas that I create usually have some connection with this area.

It would be special to make some of friends and family
- what a great present idea!

Lifebook - is a year long project creating journal pages that we are

later to bind :0)

Its a great way to keep creative with a busy lifestyle, 

create in your own time, with no pressure.

Well I started January's work this week! ;0)

I picked Anu - a goddess to represent my inner self, 

then used related words to express - the self.

It felt sooooooooooooooo good to create again!

I have missed it :0)

Hi everyone, 

while working on the new fab online class  'Lifebook' By TAM,

 I found myself reverting back to how thoughts become things 

- The law of attraction.

While scrolling the net to look for inspiration, 

I found these extra laws for attraction, 

I especially loved the sub laws

& felt the overwhelming need to share :0)

The 12 Universal Laws plus 

21 Sub-Laws to Living a Magical Life

What we think about we bring about, our thoughts become things.  

All of our thoughts, feelings, 

words and actions are producing energy which in turn attract like energies and things into our lives.  

Negative or Positive like attracts like.    

The Law of Attraction is also known as the Law of Love ♥

Here are the other universal laws, master these ones too :0) 

1 ~ The Law of Divine Oneness

We live in a world where everything and everyone is connected to everything and everyone else.
Every single thing we are doing, saying, thinking and believing effects others around us as well
as the universe we are part of.   We are all connected.

2 ~ The Law of Vibration

Everything single thing in our universe moves, vibrates and travels in circular motions.
These very same principles of vibration apply in our physical world through our thoughts,
feelings and desires.
Everything has it’s own vibrational frequency from sounds, to things and even our thoughts.
Your vibration will attract like vibrations to you.

3 ~ The Law of Action

To see the Law of Attraction in Action we must take inspired action.
To manifest the things we desire we must engage in actions which support our desires as well as our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words.

4 ~ The Law of Correspondence

As Above, So Below.  Energy, Light, Vibration and Motion all have their corresponding principles.  Everything on the physical plane has a corresponding principle out there in the universe.

5 ~ The Law of Cause & Effect

Nothing ever happens by chance.  We reap what we sow, every action has a reaction and consequence.  What we put out there we get back.  Karma….

6 ~ The Law of Compensation

As for the Law of Cause and Effect what we put out we get back by way of abundance in all area’s.  
By helping others and taking positive actions great things will come back into our lives.
We will be compensated for our good deeds, give your heart and soul to everything.

7 ~ The Law of Attraction

What we think about we bring about, our thoughts become things.
All of our thoughts, feelings, words and actions are producing energy which in turn attract like energies
and things into our lives.

8  ~ The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy (The What?????)

Simply put, everyone has the ability within them to transform their life.
We can do this by understanding these universal laws and changing our energy.  It’s up to us to do it!

9 ~ The Law of Relativity

Everyone has challenges! We are all given challenges for a reason, opportunities to learn and grow.
These challenges are sent to strengthen our inner light.
The law also wants us to  look at other peoples challenges and problems worse than ours so we can gain perspective.  It’s all relative.

10 ~ The Law of Polarity

Everything has a polar opposite good or bad.  
This is the Contrast and Clarity, when you know what you don’t want in turn you know what you do want.  Focus on the Good things you want.

11 ~ The Law of Rhythm

Everything moves and vibrates to certain rhythms.
This can be seasons, cycles, stages of our development and patterns happening in the universe.
We need to stay in flow throughout these rhythms of life.

12 ~ The Law of Gender

Yin & Yang.  Everything and everyone has feminine and masculine principles and energies,
this is how creation happens in the universe.
We must all find the balance between the two to master our lives.

There are also 21 Sub-Laws which relate to the human characteristics 

we should embody in our lives ~

to showcase their work in a community-driven and creative atmosphere.

Our usual home is at the Dogstar, Brixton but occasionally we set up our Den in new locations.

Please use the form HERE to apply for a space to sell your handmade or vintage goods at the Crafty Fox Spring Market 

on 24th March 2012 (11am - 5pm) 

at The Dogstar, Brixton, SW9. 

Deadline for applications: Tuesday 14th February

The advice in this short clip useful when applying for future markets.

The main points covered are included below: 

- Make sure the organisers can view clear, good quality photos of your products either via a website or by emailing with photos.

- It may help to include a picture of your market stall set up if available.

- Make sure your pricing can be seen clearly as the organisers will need to judge if your work is at the right level for their particular event.

- Try to make your work as unique as possible and highlight this in your application.

- Don't be too disheartened or take it personally if you aren't successful - events are often heavily oversubscribed.

General Information

Tables and chairs are provided by the venue

Please bring table coverings

You may wish to bring extra lighting as the venue is poorly lit

The market will run from 11am - 5pm

The Dogstar is a fully liscensed bar

Payment Options

If your application is successful, payment will be required by 24th February in order to secure your position. Payment details will be sent in the confirmation email.
Please note that your place will only be confirmed once the payment has cleared.
Receipts will be provided on request.
