Art Doll Quarterly Spring 2010....we're in girls !



Girlies we are in Febuary 2010 Spring Edition...yay!

This is the upcycled cloth clay doll I submitted with group to
'Art Doll Quarterly'

We are published in Art Doll Quarterly Feb 2010 for doing the Upcycle Challenge!

Her name is

'Jacqueline'


Constructed from:

tea towel - body
Old cushion inner - wadding/stuffing
Creative paperclay
Muslin curtain - frock/shawl

Acrylic paints & matt sealer


Jacqueline is named after a very dear family friend of whom we lost contact with for many, many years.... We met eachother again last year via friends reunited..wow, she is a very special & beautiful lady - I love happy ever afters...xoxo

- Elemental fire (Aries) Passion,
scorch of flame upon the hem of her muslin poetic print frock ...
heart symbolises her inner love forever shared...

Trace, this is awesome! The spread looks wonderful. When does the issue come out? I have to get it. Congrats and keep it coming girl. I so want to come to London and stay with you. Congrats on the feature, I always pick up this magazine and look forward to seeing it. I'm in Jane's class too but have yet attempted a doll, how embarrassing, lol!

I know it can be difficult to to get into that first step, I am like that with my armature, I really have to start that doll lol...but we will do it ...I cant wait wait to see your creation I know it will be wonderful!
